The usually staid Westin Hotel in San Francisco will pulsate with a hip-hop beat this Friday night (June 7).
A benefit Concert for the Asian Americans for Civil Rights and Equality will feature up-and-coming Asian American rap and hip-hop artists.
Artists scheduled to perform include Ruby Ibarra, Magnetic North, Mass Base, Rice Rockets and Hunnies & Hot Sauce.
AACRE, which is a network comprised of 11 organizations fighting for justice through an intersectional lens, works with Asian, South Asian, Southeast Asian and Pacific Islander refugees, immigrants, LGBTQ, incarcerated folks, artists, faith leaders, survivors, and more.
Tickets can be bought at the door or in advance.
