Boy and grandpa go dancing prior to surgery

Five-year old Kyu San Juan had just one request the evening before he was scheduled to have major surgery. He wanted to dance.

According to Kyu's mother, Rasami, they went to grocery storey in  Green Bay, Wisconsin a little after midnight and after Kyu expressed his wish. She said on her Facebook page the conversation went like this:
KYU SAN JUAN
“Grandpa: Do you guys need to buy something?
Kyu: No grandpa, we dance here in the groceries store.
Grandpa: Here? People are going to think we’re crazy!
Kyu: People? What people?
Grandpa: I thought we were going to a party or a club.
ME: laughing hysterically*
Kyu: Grandpa, use your imagination. You can dance anywhere! 🤣”
And, dance they did, right down the middle of the frozen food aisle. The video of Kyu in his pajamas and his doting grandfather went viral.
Kyu was born with a condition called was born with cerebral arteriovenous malformation (AVM), which causes an abnormal connection between the arteries and veins in the brain, according to Yahoo!

The 5-year old had surgery Jun 5 to correct his condition.

The surgery went well and better than the doctors at Children's Hospital in Milwaukee had expected, Kyu's mother reported on Monday (June 10). Kyu is recovering after a stay in the hospital.

"He's just very carefree. Very carefree," Rasami says.

And the whole family shared the young boy's free spirit, dancing wherever and whenever they feel the beat.

"Here sometimes. Here, there and everywhere," Kyu says.

Anyone who wants to help reduce the family’s medical bills can donate here.
