Darren Criss got married.
Criss and long-time fiancee Mia Swier tied the knot in New Orleans Saturday (Feb. 16) in the presence of friends and family.
He announced his wedding on social media, sticking in several Star Trek references:
"Mia and I have had seven and a half years of fun, wacky, wonderful, CRAZY adventures together. And I'm happy to announce that we're kicking those adventures up a notch. We're going for it. To boldly go where neither of us have gone before. Engage."
Criss' wedding topped what has been a life-changing year for the Filipino American actor starting with winning the Emmy for his playing-against-type portrayal of Andrew Cunanan, the killer in The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story. That was followed with a Golden Globe, Critics Choice and SAG award._____________________________________________________________________
