In the Game of Thrones Season 8 premiere Sunday, there is a moment when Missandei looks over at Grey Worm as they enter Winterfell that struck a chord with me.
It is a feeeling that I have experienced many times in my life.
At a concert, a classroom, a restaurant or a newsroom -- and one realizes that you are the only person of color or the only Asian American in the room.
You wonder to yourself: Here we go again. Represent, represent, represent! That realization is no fantasy.
Ah yes, I can relate!
