JULIE CHEN has gotten her wish.
Carrie Ann Inaba , one of the judges for Dancing with the Stars, has been named to replace Chen on The Talk on CBS, reported Variety.
Chen resigned from her hosting duties on the day-time gabfest after her husband, CBS executive Les Moonves, resigned under the cloud of sexual harassment allegations.
She actually mentioned Inaba as her choice to replace her when she announced she would be leaving the show.
“Carrie Ann,” Chen said, “I don’t know, but in my opinion, you look awful good sitting in that chair my Asian sister. I’m just saying.”
In addition to her new role on The Talk, Inaba will continue to be a judge on DWTS, a position she has had since the show premiered in 2005, according to People. Both shows are taped in Los Angeles.
Prior to Dancing with the Stars, Chen appeared in the Fox series, In Living Color, as a Fly Girl dancer.
