Is Vanessa Hudgens becoming the queen of holiday romcoms? Thanksgiving will soon be here and Christmas is right around the corner, so it must be time for a Hudgens starrer.
The Knight Before Christmas is the latest movie by the Filipina American actress. It will be premiering on Netflix this Nov. 21. Last year, Netflix debuted The Princess Switch with Hudgens starring in the made-for-the-holidays fun flick.
Just from the title you can safely guess that the plot involves some time travel, some romance, some comedy, some harmless fun. In the perfectly titled Knight Before Christmas, she plays a kind science teacher who has been disillusioned by love and he's the cursed medieval knight, played by Josh Whitehouse (Poldark), who she must help return to his time
Holiday movies is like money in the bank for actors. If done well enough, you can be assured that it will be revived year after year assuring you of an annual presence in America's living rooms.
And yes, she already has her 2020 holiday film lined up: The Princess Switch: Switched Again.
