A SOUTH TEXAS exchange student captured a driver's racist rant against him in a now viral video.

"A road raging guy blocks me off in front of Kingsville DMV in Texas then gets out of his car to fight and threat," posted Ali Aghamdi of Kingsville, Texas.

"He asked me a couple of times to get out of my car, and he kept using bad words and calling me bad names, then he said 'Go back to your home country,'" said Aghamdi, a 24-year-old engineering student at Texas A&M University,

Just another guy acting stupid. These racist actions have become more common since Donald Trump declared his candidacy for president in 2016.

Coincidence? It's pretty obvious the ascendancy of Trump correlates with the rise in hate incidents -- people spewing hate and ignorance towards people of color, including Asians.

Alghamdi, 24, said last month he was driving in Kingsville when the car in front of him reportedly ran through a stop sign. As Alghamdi drove on, the driver of the front vehicle — a black Chevrolet — kept hitting his brakes, causing Alghamdi to do so, as well, according to an article in the Huffington Post.

The driver of the Chevrolet finally came to a complete stop, got out of his car and approached Alghamdi and began berating him. That's when Alghamdi began taping the other driver as he continued insulting Alghamdi.

“I was just shocked; honestly, I was scared,” said Alghamdi, a student

“This is America, dumbass,” the driver can be heard saying halfway through the expletive- -laden video below.

“You better learn how to drive in America,” the man says. “This isn’t Pakistan, bitch. This is not Pakistan, Afghanistan or Kuwait, motherf-----r.”

When the man got back in his vehicle, Alghamdi though the incident was over. But it wasn't. The Chevrolet driver followed Alghamdi to his destination. When he saw the other driver, Alghamdi called police but the man left the scene before police arrived minutes later.

When the Kingsville Police officer arrived he asked to see Alghamdi’s identification. When he told them that he recorded the incident on his phone, the police asked him to turn over the video as evidence and to file a report. “I swear, that’s when the whole process changed 180 degrees,” Alghamdi said.

He uploaded the video to Youtube on May 4 and also submitted it to HuffPost’s “Documenting Hate” project, which uses a database to identify incidents of prejudice.

Lt. Bradley Lile told the Huffington Post that the man in the video clip has been identified and will authorities will pursue charges of disorderly conduct.

"We commend our student for displaying great poise and dignity in the face of intolerance," TAMUK University President Steven H. Tallent said.

"While this incident did not occur on our campus, the behavior captured in this video is deeply disappointing and upsetting to all of us. It is not reflective of our community, but unfortunately the respectful environment we have cultivated here does not exist in all corners of society. So, this is a reminder that we still have work to do."

“Yes, it’s road rage, it happens to everyone,” says Alghmdi. “I look different, that’s when the incident went further.”
Alghamdi believes the incident was motivated by hate.
