Asian Americans captured some of the biggest awards for the equivalent of the Oscars for new online media.

The 11th Annual Streamy Award "honors excellence in online video and the creators behind it."

Filipino American Bretman Rock won two awards: Show of the Year and Uncripted Series for his fashion and lifestyle show "30 Days With: Bretman Rock"  streamed on YouTube.

YouTube creator and singer Bella Poarch, a Filipino American, was named  Breakout Star of the Year.

Jabberwockeez, the dance group whose members are mostly Filipino Americans won the best dance video for their performance during the Super Bowl half0time show.

Yoleendadong won a Streamy for Comedy for her Tik Tok account where much of Canadian Leenda Dong's act is performing as a cartoonish Vietnamese immigrant, including a thick Vietnamese accent.

The most prestigious award, Creator of the Year, went to YouTuber MrBeast.

Fittingly, the awards show was streamed on YouTube on Dec. 11. YouTube star Larray served as tonight’s Master of Ceremonies.
