Antifa attacks conservative journalist

ASAM NEWS

Andy Ngo, who ABC News described as a conservative journalist for the outlet Quillette, suffered cuts and bruises after he said militant protestors from antifa in Portland Oregon peppered him with what appear to be milkshakes.

Reason reports Portland police believe at least some of those milkshakes were laced with quick-dry cement. Jeff Ryan of the Oregonian posted video on Twitter which Reason says shows a protestor punching Ngo (See second video on chain below).

According to Newsweek, demonstrators at the rally included two right-wing groups — the street-fighting fraternal group called Proud Boys, and Haley Adams of the “HimToo Movement.” The group antifa showed up as part of a counterdemonstration.

In a video posted by Ngo himself, he can be heard saying “I just got beat up by the (unintelligible), no police at all. In the middle of the street, and they stole my Go Pro and punched me several times.”

Three people arrested during the demonstrations have been identified as Gage Halupowski, 23, charged with assault and assault on a public safety officer; James K. Stocks, 21, charged with harassment; and Maria Dehart, 23, charged with disorderly conduct and harassment.

Eight people, including three police officers, were treated for minor injuries.

A Go Fund Me page set up by conservative commentator Michelle Malkin on behalf of  Ngo has raised $92,000 as of this morning.
