Bruno Mars' TV concert at the famed Apollo Theater is airing on CBS on Wednesday, Nov. 29.

"Burno Mars: 24K Magic Live At the Apollo," debuts Wednesday on CBS at 10 p.m. Eastern. He recorded the special at the Apollo Theater in New York's Harlem, performing the majority of his third album, "24K Magic."

Mars is the first Filipino/American to have his own concert special on U.S. television.

Last weekend, Bruno Mars cleaned up at the 2017 Soul Train Awards Sunday night, nearly sweeping the six categories in which he was nominated.

Mars took home awards for best R&B/soul male artist, video of the year, album of the year, song of the year and best dance performance.

Earlier this year, he won seven American Music Awards, including artist of the year. Mars picked up video of the year at the BET Awards, shared with Beyonce, and won his fifth Grammy Award earlier this year. His album 24K Magic reached double platinum.

He performed in the Apollo concert in the middle of his current tour so he and his musicians, his signature choreography are all on point.

Mars said he chose to film the one-hour special at the Apollo — which he calls "a magical place" — because of the venue's rich history in music and pop culture.

"People are going to get the best that I got," he said in a CBS interview.

BRUNO MARS has been on his “24K Magic World Tour.” During his August 12 sold-out show, Mars surprised the Auburn Hills, MI audience with the announcement that he would be donating $1 million to aid victims of the Flint water crisis.
"I'm very thankful to the Michigan audience for joining me in supporting this cause," the Grammy winner said in a statement on August 12. "Ongoing challenges remain years later for Flint residents, and it's important that we don't forget our brothers and sisters affected by this disaster. As people, especially as Americans, we need to stand together to make sure something like this never happens in any community ever again."

The next day, the Filipino/American entertainer, 31, dropped his “Versace on the Floor” video, in which Mars demonstrates his skills on the keyboards. 

The 5-minute video opens with a brief encounter between Bruno and the Spider-Man: Homecoming actress in a hotel room hallway, before they enter their adjacent rooms. As an indigo haze brushes over their rooms, Bruno sits down at the keyboard to sing a little tune. Wooed by his charm and melodic serenade, Zendaya – appropriately dressed in Versace – begins to sway and dance as the room is lit up with twinkling lights.

“Versace on the Floor” is the third music video to be released off his platinum-certified studio album. It follows behind the animated visuals for “That’s What I Like” and the album’s lead single, “24K Magic.”

Was Bruno Mars snubbed by the Grammy Awards?

Filipino/American R&B singer Bruno Mars debuted his newest album in November.

SO WHY wasn't Bruno Mars' new album and hit single 24K Magic not nominated for a Grammy this year? 

Not only Bruno Mars, but some heavyweight performers didn't make the cut. These included The Weeknd's Starboy,  Lady Gaga's Joanne, Miranda Lambert's The Weight of These Wings, Alicia Keys' Here, Michael Buble's Nobody But Me, Kenny Chesney's Cosmic Hallelujah, and Bon Jovi's This House Is Not for Sale.

Before you Hooligans (what Bruno's fans call themselves) begin marching in the streets or creating hashtags; it wasn't a snub or an oversight. The explanation is simple: In order to be considered for the 2017 Grammy Awards, the new music -- including singles and albums -- must have been released between Oct. 1, 2015 and Sept. 30, 2016. 

Mars' album, which took three years to make, was released after this qualifying time frame. The hit single by the Filipino/American performer was released a week after the deadline on Oct. 7; the album followed on Nov. 18. The single and the album will be eligible for the 2018 awards show.

When I saw this I loved the contrast of traditional Japan meeting the 21st Century through music and dancing to Bruno Mars newest hit, 24K Magic. 

The women - all over 60 years old -  in traditional kimonos put on some pretty good moves.
