After the Orlando mass shooting, a Muslim/American's appeal for unity goes viral

A MUSLIM/AMERICAN's Facebook post after the Orlando mass shooting went viral because he was donating blood for the victims and because of his moving appeal for compassion, tolerance and unity.

The morning of the shooting on June 12 after the details of the horrofic shooting that killed 50 people, including the shooter became known, Mahmoud ElAwadi went to an Orlando blood bank to donate his blood for the victims. 
He posted on his Facebook page a picture of his arm during the blood donation and explained why he did it.

ElAwadi, a Merrill-Lynch vice president, went on to explain why he thought the United States is the greatest country in the world.
