OUTSIDE of Hawaii and California, the State of Washington might have the most Asian American and Pacific Islanders (AAPI) on the ballot for its August 7 Primaryi.

Jayapal has been an outspoken critic of Trump policies in immigration and health care. She was among the first Congressional reps to visit a detention center for parents seperated from their children.
