Comic Con panel will discuss Asian Americans in comics, movies

IF YOU are in San Diego for Comic Con 2016, one of the highlights for Asian/American delegates is happening this Sunday, July 24. 

Super Asian America  will feature some heavyweight writers: Gene Yang (New Superman), Peter Shinkoda (Daredevil), Keith Chow (Nerds of Color), Sarah Kuhn (Heroine Complex), Christine Dinh (comics branding professional), and other comic book titans discuss the ever-evolving state of Asian Americans in media. Moderated by Mike Le of Racebending.

It should be a very interesting panel which will most likely touch on topics such as the #WhiteWashing of Asian characters in the movies and the growing diversity of comic books including Asian/Americans with super powers.
