A FLORIDA MAN who is accused of killing his neighbor says he’ll plead guilty if he is promised the death penalty, reports TampaBay.com.

Qiu Feng Ke told Fox 4 in January that he killed his neighbor, Edward Lee Tudor, who he accused of adult bullying,

Ke offered to plead guilty in a March 13 letter to Pinellas-Pasco Circuit Judge Mary Handsel, reported TampaBay.com.

“Death sentence is a win-win for every side involved in this case,” he said in that letter.

What Ke is offering to do may not be allowed under the law.

“You cannot plead guilty for the death penalty,” Stetson University College of Law Professor Charles Rose said.

He said only Florida juries can recommend the death penalty.

Ke say he has been angered by incessant noise coming from Tudor’s home for two years. He blamed his neighbor for banging his walls and yelling profanity.

Ke is accused of continuing to shoot Tudor as the man begged for his life.
