No missteps in dancers' surprise wedding proposal

INSTAGRAM
Polynesian dancer Ashley Liai was surprised by her boyfriend Phil Wright's proposal.
FORGET Donald Trump, Korea, the Middle East and the news of the day! We need something joyful.
Professional dancers brought the audience to their feet when instructor Phil Wright proposed to his partner (dancer and girlfriend) Ashley Liai right in the middle of one of their performances in L.A.'s Millennium Dance Complex.
The video of their dance routine set to the music of John Legend's "You & I" and the surprise proposal went viral last month on Wright's Instagram account.

"When EVERYTHING doesnt matter but the one you love @ashleyliai! Thank you @mytypolife for capturing this special moment! Thank you @jinlee205 for allowing to me to share this important part of my life at @mdcdance! Thank you @nikakljun for the last minute hookup! THANK YOU EVERYBODY FOR YOUR SUPPORT AND LOVE SINCE. This Night was UNREAL," wrote Wright in thanking all his co-conspirators.
“I feel like any proposal should reflect that couple’s relationship, and it was perfect," said Liai to NBC News. Her family is part of a professional Polynesian dance troupe in Florida. "We met in a dance class, and it’s perfect that he proposed in that setting.”
All together now, "Awwwwww."
