THE SAME Filipino/American thrill seeker who scaled the World Trade Center two years ago is at it again.
Now he’s 18 and apparently not any smarter. Justin Casquejo has posted photos and videos of himself on Instagram climbing atop and even dangling from New York skyscrapers.
The thrill seeker received a slap on the wrist - 23 days of community service - after being caught doing the same thing at the World Trade Center in 2014. Apparently, he hasn’t learned his lesson.
Casquejo claims he creates art that inspires. He apparently gets "high" on his performance art.
On his Instagram site, he says, "To Make Deep Human Connections," which he does by creating great concern for his safety.
The New York Post which first reported on the pictures quoted a fire fighting blog which called Casquejo selfish.
“Should the thrill seeker’s selfish acts fail, it will tie up highly trained technical-rescue resources and put members at risk,” read a post on NYCFireWire.com. “In this day [and] age, this is completely unacceptable.”
One person commented on his Instagram post that “unfortunately you are going to accidentally slip one day and die.”
Let’s hope someone talks some sense into this teenager. Perhaps his parents should have him evaluated by a mental health professional.
